Movie Description: Zoolander (2001) is a comedy directed by and starring Ben Stiller. He plays Derek Zoolander, a male supermodel who falls apart when rival Hansel (Owen Wilson) takes his Male Model of the Year title. His friends die in a freak accident, his dad won't talk to him, and he's about ready to quit, when fashion mogul Jacobim Mugatu (Will Ferrell) shows up with a comeback offer called "Derelicte." Turns out it's a front for brainwashing Derek into assassinating the Prime Minister of Malaysia. With journalist Matilda Jeffries (Christine Taylor) and eventually Hansel on his side, Derek has to figure out what's been done to him before the fashion show. Jerry Stiller, Milla Jovovich, Jon Voight, and David Duchovny co-star, with David Bowie showing up as himself.
