100 children face 9 professional players in an extraordinary match in Brazil.

⁣The Brazilian club Athletico Paranaense hosted an unusual match pitting 100 children from the club's academy against nine professional first-team players, in celebration of Children's Day—observed on October 12 in Brazil.

The match took place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the club's training center in Curitiba, featuring children from the Under-8, Under-9, and Under-10 squads, according to the Brazilian outlet *Globo Esporte*.

The children swarmed the pitch in large numbers, presenting a playful challenge for the first-team players as they faced opponents outnumbering them more than eleven-to-one.
